Terms of Service

The rules for using DisVault.

What DisVault is

DisVault is a marketplace where Discord community owners sell promotion and buyers pay for it. We are not a party to the promotion itself: we verify who owns a server, hold payment until delivery is counted, and settle the result.

DisVault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Discord Inc.

Your account

  • You sign in with Discord and are responsible for that account’s security.
  • One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.
  • You must be old enough to use Discord in your country, and to enter a contract there.
  • You may not use DisVault if you are barred from doing so under applicable sanctions or law.

Selling promotion

  • You may only list a Discord server you genuinely own. We verify ownership with Discord and re-check it periodically.
  • You set your own prices, quantities and delivery windows.
  • You must not use bots, purchased accounts, or any automated joining to fulfil an order.
  • If ownership of a listed server changes, its listing is removed automatically.
  • Delivery is measured by the dedicated invite created for each order. Interfering with that invite may result in an order being settled against you.

Buying promotion

  • The structured offer defines the agreement. Chat messages do not.
  • You must control the destination server, and it must allow the bot to create and read an invite.
  • Payment is held from checkout until the order closes.
  • A join is one recorded use of the order invite. It is not a promise of retention, engagement or activity.

Payment and settlement

  • Sellers pay a 12% marketplace fee on delivered value. Buyers pay the listed price.
  • An order that reaches its target settles in full. One that ends short settles in proportion to what was delivered, and the remainder returns to the buyer’s balance.
  • Balances held on DisVault are an account balance with us, not a bank deposit, and are not insured.
  • Withdrawals are sent to a Litecoin address you provide. We are not responsible for funds sent to an address you entered incorrectly.

Disputes

Either party may report a problem on an order. Reporting a problem does not move money on its own. We review the tracking and payment record and decide, and both parties are told the outcome.

Things that will get you removed

  • Faking delivery by any means, including bots or purchased accounts.
  • Listing a server you do not own, or misrepresenting a community.
  • Using DisVault to promote content that is illegal, or that breaks Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Attempting to move an agreed deal off-platform to avoid fees or protections.
  • Abusing, threatening or harassing another user or our staff.

We may suspend an account, pause listings, or withhold a settlement while we investigate. Where we do, we tell the account holder why.

Availability

DisVault is in private beta. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do not guarantee a particular level of availability during the beta.
